Victor Tran, M.D.
Board-certified in rheumatology, Dr. Tran has expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide array of diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, osteoarthritis, gout, calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease, spondyloarthritis, osteoporosis, scleroderma, Sjogren’s disease, and other autoimmune diseases and joint-related issues. He also excels in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound as well as joint injections under ultrasound guidance.
Dr. Tran graduated Cum Laude with Honors from the University of California, Los Angeles. He went home to complete his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine, where he also chose to complete his Internal Medicine Residency. Dr. Tran went on to complete his fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of California, Los Angeles where he treated patients at Ronald Reagan Medical Center, Santa Monica Center, West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Tran has research experience in cardiovascular health in ankylosing spondylitis, and also studied cardiac arrhythmia in patients with lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and Sjogren’s disease. He is an active member of the American College of Rheumatology as well as the Southern California Rheumatology Society.
Dr. Tran is a careful, attentive, and compassionate physician.
