Dr. Dmitry Karayev
Dr. Dmitry Karayev has been an associate at the Center for Rheumatology Medical Group since 2011 as a board certified Rheumatologist. He completed his fellowship in Rheumatology and residency in Internal Medicine from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and graduated medical school from Tufts University School of Medicine. He has also worked as a Co-Investigator on several studies at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center that are important research in the rheumatology field.
Dr. Karayev is a Laboratory Director for Rheumatology Diagnostics Laboratory (RDL), the nation’s leading autoimmune laboratory. He continues to research many different areas of rheumatology and autoimmunity. Furthermore, he has co-authored articles and abstracts for multiple journals (i.e. Arthritis and Rheumatology, Lupus, Gastroenterology) and enjoys expanding his knowledge on different autoimmune diseases.
Dr. Karayev specializes in patients with: Ankylosing Spondylitis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Reactive Arthritis, IBD-related Arthritis, Pseudogout, Gout, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Vasculitis, Polymyalgia Rheumatica, Behcet’s Syndrome, Sjogren’s Syndrome and Spinal Stenosis. By specializing in these areas of Rheumatology, Dr. Karayev is able to provide his patients with a very comprehensive and thorough diagnosis and treatment plan that meets both their financial and medical needs. He excels in performing injections for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. He is known by his patients for his polite demeanor and his patient attitude. He is fluent in both English and Russian.
